This is the fourth time for me to buy a house. I had not had any major issue in loan process in the previous contracts. However, because of my RSU document and the market situation (high interest rate), there were several challenges in the loan process at this time. And I was not prepared to resolve them because I haven't faced them before. Emily provided detailed instruction with option 1, option2 and option 3 for the worst-case scenario in timely manner and did have follow-up talk with me, again in timely manners, to make sure we are on the right track. The home buying process for working class folks such as myself can be stressful. I recently went through the process, and it was nerve racking. I first used LendFriend for my pre-qualification and found the perfect home. The builder convinced me to use their people and offered great incentives to do so. Well, you get what you pay for. The builder’s lender were nice people, they just didn’t seem very educated on thinking outside of the box. A day before closing I was called and told that I would need an extra $15k if I wanted to close on this house. I’m a working man and didn’t have that type of extra cash laying around. My realtor (Tami Baker with Blue Line Realty) told me to call LendFriend back. I spoke with Greg and Mike and gave them the details. I was completely frustrated with the builders lender, but after looking at my financial situation the team at LendFriend me at ease. They moved my closing date and were able to fund my home shortly thereafter. This wasn’t the sale of a million dollar home, but this team gave me that type of service.
