Eric Bernstein is a natural problem solver who built LendFriend Mortgage around helping borrowers find a path forward when the easy answer is "no." Since entering the mortgage industry in 2015, he's closed over $1 billion in home loans and helped thousands of people buy homes, build wealth, and feel confident about one of life's biggest financial decisions.

He especially loves helping homebuyers in a pinch—someone already under contract who was unexpectedly denied by a bank, a self-employed borrower whose tax returns don't reflect their true cash flow, a real estate investor or crypto holder whose wealth doesn't fit a standard underwriting box, or a high-net-worth buyer with substantial assets but limited traditional income. He also has extensive experience helping veterans use VA IRRRLs to reduce their monthly payments quickly with minimal documentation.

Eric and the LendFriend team work with more than 40 wholesale lenders across VA, conventional, and jumbo loans, plus Non-QM solutions like bank statement, DSCR, and asset depletion programs. That lender access gives the team more ways to structure a loan when a traditional bank's guidelines don't fit the borrower's financial picture.

Through her Mortgage Literacy platform, she makes the mortgage process easier to understand while guiding buyers, homeowners, and investors through conventional, jumbo, VA, FHA, investment property, self-employed, and other specialized loan programs. Kristen brings strong local market knowledge, responsiveness, and a borrower-first approach to every mortgage.
